STANDARD VAPE ANNOUNCES INITIAL MEMBERS OF SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARD FOR SUBSIDIARY NEO VIRUCIDE, INC.
STANDARD VAPE CORPORATION (SVAP-OTC PINK) announced today that it has signed agreements with four highly respected personages to commence the joint Scientific Advisory Board with both Neo Virucide, Inc. (“NVI”) and NMB Therapeutics, Inc. (“NMB”) a related party. On April 14, 2020, SVAP acquired newly incorporated NVI that owns an exclusive worldwide license on the use of a proprietary nanoparticle NanoNOx™ for treatment of microbial and viral infections. In a sense NanoNOx™ seeks to fulfill President Trump’s stated desire to use a disinfecting agent as a treatment for COVID-19. NanoNOx™ has been shown to kill a wide spectrum of microbial and viral agents in vitro, thus being a probably biologically safe inhalable disinfecting agent. In addition, NanoNOx™ is thought to have anti-inflammatory effects, causes vasodilation, and provides additional oxygen. The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) Members are:
Makarand Jawadekar, Ph.D., is currently an independent pharma professional. He worked for Pfizer, Inc. for 28 years. In 2010 he was Director, Portfolio Management for Pfizer. During his career with Pfizer he was responsible, at various times, for external drug delivery technology assessment, created and cultivated external partnerships and alliances for drug delivery technologies, among others. He is active on the Strategic and Scientific Advisory Boards of several companies and the Task Force in Washington DC on COVID 19.
Joshua Nosanchuk, M.D. is currently Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is a professor in the Department of Medicine (infectious diseases) and the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. His areas of research include medical education, fungal pathogenesis, host-pathogen biology, regenerative medicine and innovative therapeutics.
Jimmy K. Lee, M.D., is Director of Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center and Associate Professor of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, New York. Dr. Lee is working with NMB to conduct in vitro research utilizing NanoNOx™ which is thought to be beneficial in treating infections of the cornea and as a cleansing agent for contact lenses.
Karen Kingston, B.B.A., Principal, Activiis where she serves as Marketing and Public Relations Strategist for healthcare companies, performs executive coaching for Fortune 500 clients, technical and creative writer responsible for production of hundreds of marketing, sales and Public Relations materials in various media.
The diverse talents and skills sets of these individual, along with others in Neo Virucide will greatly facilitate the development of NanoNOx™ as a medical treatment for microbial and viral diseases in the coming months and years. Each Member receives 50,000 shares of the common stock of Neo Virucide and 50,000 shares of NMB Therapeutics for each year they serve on the SAB.
