* Mercantile Investments PLC CSELK:MERC.N0000 and SMB Finance PLC CSELK:SEMB.N0000 were the top percentage gainers on the CSE All Share index, rising 124% and 25%, respectively.
* Trading volume on the CSE All Share index fell to 507.4 million shares from 538.2 million in the previous session.
* The equity market's turnover fell to 5.68 billion Sri Lankan rupees ($18.77 million) from 8.46 billion rupees in the previous session, according to exchange data.
* Foreign investors were net buyers, purchasing stocks worth 420.8 million rupees, while domestic investors were net sellers, offloading shares worth 5.31 billion rupees, the data showed.
