The Successfully Established U.S. Cafés Form The Bedrock For The Company’s Next Phase of Expansion
TEMPE, Arizona — August 19, 2026 — Snakes & Lattes Inc. OTCID:FUNN (the “Company”) today provides the shareholders and investment community with an overview of its U.S. operating platform following the Company’s recently announced strategic pivot to continue on with the success the Company is seeing throughout the locations in the U.S.
For shareholders who have followed the Company for years, much has changed. For those discovering the Company for the first time, the story is now considerably more streamlined with the focus being on what has been driving revenue and profitability from the beginning. Continued U.S. expansion.
Snakes & Lattes Inc. is today primarily focused on the top performing U.S. hospitality and entertainment venues which are located in Tempe, Arizona; Chicago, Illinois; and Tucson, Arizona.
Together, these locations represent the foundation from which management intends to build the Company’s next chapter.
“We are approaching this moment with the focus on expanding our footprint to complement our existing U.S. locations which are all to date, doing very well.” said Susan Lawver, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Snakes & Lattes Inc. “We have established operating businesses, years of experience, talented teams, recognizable locations and a concept that we believe has significant room to grow. At the same time, we have the opportunity to look at nearly every part of the business with fresh eyes and ask how we can continue building this Company at a rapid rate.
Tempe, Arizona — The Flagship
Opened in 2018, the Company’s Tempe location is its largest and most profitable restaurant and serves as the flagship of the U.S. operations.
Located in Downtown Tempe near Arizona State University, the café sits within one of the region’s busiest entertainment districts, with convenient access to nearby Valley Metro light rail.
The location can accommodate more than 200 guests and combines a full-service restaurant and bar with a large board game library and social entertainment experience.
Tempe has historically generated strong location-level profitability, providing the Company with an established, income-generating operating base and a demonstrated track record of positive earnings.
“Tempe demonstrates what this concept can look like at scale,” Lawver said. “It is a large venue in an active entertainment district next to one of the largest universities in the country. After eight years of operation, it continues to be an incredibly important asset for us and the location from which we can learn as we build what comes next. We look forward to continue serving the tens of thousands of customers that come through our doors annually."
Chicago, Illinois — The Growth Story
The Company’s Chicago restaurant is its second-largest location and currently its fastest-growing operation, generating double-digit year-over-year sales growth.
Located in Chicago’s Wicker Park/Bucktown area, the venue offers an experience that is intentionally different from a traditional restaurant, bar or game café.
Designed with the involvement of former Disney designers, the Chicago location features highly themed spaces, dedicated private rooms, a Mead Hall designed to accommodate corporate and group events, and a former bank vault that has been transformed into a game library for guests.
“There really isn’t another location in our portfolio — or many hospitality concepts we have seen — that looks and feels like Chicago,” Lawver said. “It has character, built-in storytelling and tremendous private-event potential. More importantly, the market is responding. Chicago continues to grow at a double-digit pace, making it one of the most exciting assets in the Company.”
Management believes private events, corporate gatherings and group experiences represent a particularly compelling growth opportunity for the Chicago location.
Tucson, Arizona — A Smaller Format with Opportunity
Located near the University of Arizona, Tucson is the smallest of the Company’s three cafés and offers a more intimate version of the Snakes & Lattes experience.
The location combines board games and social entertainment with what management believes is an increasingly strong food and beverage program.
Its smaller footprint also provides the Company with a valuable contrast to the larger Tempe and Chicago venues as management evaluates different operating models, guest experiences and future formats.
“The Company sees alot of opportunity with the Tucson location. It is located near a major university, it has a talented team, and the quality coming out of its kitchen and bar gives us something very real to build upon. As we bring improved technology, better marketing, operating discipline and a refreshed brand strategy to the business, Tucson gives us an opportunity to demonstrate what those changes can accomplish.”
Three Cafés. One Focus.
The Company believes the separation of its Canadian operations provides shareholders with a much clearer view of the underlying U.S. business.
Rather than managing across multiple countries, legacy businesses and unrelated operating structures, management’s focus is now concentrated on the U.S. café expansion and the infrastructure required to support their growth.
That work is already underway.
The Company is currently modernizing significant portions of its operating technology, including payroll, scheduling, point-of-sale, reservations, inventory management, voice technology and other restaurant systems. Management is also developing a refreshed consumer brand and operating model intended to support future expansion.
“These are not ideas on a whiteboard,” Lawver said. “They are brick and mortar restaurants serving hundreds of guests every day. We have a profitable flagship, a profitable Chicago location growing at a double-digit rate, and a Tucson location where we believe there is a meaningful opportunity to improve performance albeit doing well. That is our starting point.”
Lawver continued, “What excites me most is that we are not starting from zero — but we are giving ourselves permission to think like we are. We can keep what works, change what doesn’t, simplify the organization and build the systems we would want if we were designing this company today for the next ten years rather than the last ten.”
The Next Chapter
Management believes the opportunity ahead extends beyond operating our existing successful restaurants.
The Company’s longer-term objective is to develop a differentiated hospitality and social entertainment platform that combines food, beverage, games and shared experiences in a format capable of expanding into additional U.S. markets.
“We know there is work ahead,” Lawver concluded. “But there is also tremendous clarity now. We know what businesses we are focused on. We know where we believe the opportunities are. And we know what we are building toward.
“We are moving forward in a big way and it starts now.”
