OTC Markets Group has resolved to expand into the whole Asia-Pacific region as a key part of its future strategy, and the Hong Kong office is a first step in that direction. As of the second quarter of 2026, OTC Markets' markets included about 585 OTCQX companies, 1,101 OTCQB companies, and 1,037 OTCID companies.
SGLA is currently quoted on OTCID, and with its business focused on the Asian market, its direction lines up with OTC Markets' push into Asia Pacific. Having an OTC Markets office in Hong Kong may also make it a little easier for SGLA to stay in touch with investors, analysts, and market makers who follow companies operating in the region. Being invited to the event is one small part of SGLA's ongoing efforts to raise its visibility and build relationships within the broader capital markets community as it works toward its planned uplisting.
