- The company has once again achieved the highest category in the EPRA Financial BPR and Sustainability BPR Awards 2026.
- The recognition highlights the quality, transparency and consistency of the financial and ESG information published by SILICIUS in accordance with EPRA standards.
Madrid, 15 September 2026 - SILICIUS Real Estate, a SOCIMI specialising in the long-term management of real estate assets, has achieved Gold status for the second consecutive year in both the EPRA Financial Best Practices Recommendations (BPR) Awards and the Sustainability Best Practices Recommendations (sBPR) Awards 2026, consolidating its position among the companies that meet the highest financial and sustainability reporting standards established by the European Public Real Estate Association (EPRA).
The recognition marks the continuation of the double Gold achieved by SILICIUS in 2025. In financial reporting, the company has now secured the highest category for three consecutive years, having also achieved Gold in 2024. In sustainability, SILICIUS progressed from Silver in 2024 to Gold in 2025, a distinction it has retained again this year.
The EPRA Financial BPR Awards recognise the level of compliance with EPRA's best practice recommendations, which aim to promote more transparent, consistent and comparable financial reporting across the listed real estate sector.
The assessment analyses eight key indicators, including EPRA Earnings, EPRA NAVs, EPRA Net Initial Yields, Vacancy Rate, Cost Ratios, Loan-to-Value, Like-for-like rental growth and CapEx. To achieve Gold status, companies must score above 80% and disclose at least six of these eight indicators, together with their calculations and corresponding variations.
In the 2026 edition, 163 companies were assessed, of which 112 received an award and 91 achieved Gold status. SILICIUS is among the 83 companies that retained the highest distinction from the previous year.
Gold also in sustainability reportingThe EPRA Sustainability BPR Awards assess the quality and transparency of sustainability reporting by listed real estate companies.
The methodology assesses 16 environmental indicators, 12 social and corporate governance indicators, and 10 overarching recommendations covering areas such as reporting scope and boundaries, data quality, external assurance and explanations of performance trends. Gold status recognises exceptional adherence to the sBPR recommendations and requires a score above 85%.
In 2026, EPRA assessed 160 companies, of which 104 received an award and 93 achieved Gold status. In addition, 96% of the companies that had achieved Gold in 2025 and remained within the scope of the study retained the distinction. SILICIUS is among the companies that have renewed this recognition.
Achieving both Gold distinctions simultaneously for the second consecutive year reinforces SILICIUS' commitment to rigorous, transparent and comparable corporate reporting, both in financial matters and ESG, against a backdrop of increasing disclosure requirements for the European real estate sector.
EPRA is the association representing Europe's listed real estate sector and has more than 270 members. Its main objectives include improving the information available to investors and other stakeholders and promoting the adoption of best practices across the industry.
