VANCOUVER, July 4 /CNW/ - Sego Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that the 2007 Mapping Program at its Gold Hill Project 40 km north of Barriere, BC, in the Traditional Territory of the Simpcw First Nation, has located three target zones for trenching and drilling.
The Mapping Program, now completed, located 5-6 distinctive structural joint/shear/stringer sets and utilizing the mapping three target zones were located. A significant northerly striking gold bearing vein/shear/alteration zone occurs just north of the No. 2 vein and may intersect it. In this area an apparent widening of the number 2 vein is also present. An additional potential drill target is north along the mineralized north-south vein/shear, north of the number 2 vein. One of the larger geochemical anomalies appears to overlie a stock work zone which is a bulk tonnage target. Trenching and drilling is planned to follow up on these targets. Mapping was conducted and supervised by Sean Daly P. Geo.
The Gold Hill property is a Gold, Silver exploration project. Exploration is targeting high grade vein systems and systems that have the potential to host bulk-tonnage low-grade gold deposits.
