NOTICE TO THE MARKET
SÃO CARLOS ANNOUNCES THE CONCLUSION OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF CENTRO ADMINISTRATIVO CIDADE NOVA AND THE LEASING AGREEMENT FOR 47% OF THE BUILDING São Carlos Empreendimentos e Participações S.A. ("São Carlos") hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general the conclusion of the development, with municipal permit, and the signature of a lease agreement for 47% of the leasable area of Centro Administrativo Cidade Nova ("Property").
The Property is a world-class A office building, with
35,221 sq.mts of leasable area (BOMA), divided into
30,437 sq.mts of office space, 4,784 sq.mts of space for convenience stores and 235 parking lots. The Property is located at Rua Dom Marcos Barbosa, nº 2, at the corner of Rua Ulisses Guimarães, Cidade Nova, Rio de Janeiro.
The lease agreement was signed with a top tier multinational company ("Contract") for 16,601 sq.mts of leasable area (BOMA), corresponding to 47% of the Property. The leasing term is 10 years, starting on September 1, 2014, and the leasing price is in line with market prices and with São Carlos' expectation.
