Acquisition of ISO 45001 / JIS Q 45100 Certification（Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems） at Four Domestic Production Sites

~ Strengthening Domestic Occupational Health and Safety Management through transition from the JISHA System ～

SAKATA INX CORPORATION (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka City; Yoshiaki Ueno: Representative Director President & CEO) announces that its four domestic production sites (Osaka, Tokyo, Shiga and Hanyu) have obtained certification for the international standard "ISO 45001"and the domestic standard "JIS Q 45100" for occupational health and safety management systems.

The company has transitioned from the previously introduced "JISHA-approved OSHMS" to a more systematic and internationally recognized certification system, and has strengthened its occupational health and safety management system.

JIS Q 45100 is a Japan-specific management standard based on ISO 45001, incorporating elements tailored to Japan's legal system and practical operation. The purpose of this certification is to establish a globally unified foundation for occupational health and safety, and to enhance the efficiency of audits and management as well as accelerate improvement activities through quality (ISO 9001) and environmental (ISO 14001) management systems. The frequency and scope of audits will be expanded. By enhancing the effectiveness of the occupational health and safety management system, the company will further strengthen its efforts to reduce workplace accidents in Japan.
