VANCOUVER, BC, Oct. 10 /CNW Telbec/ - Sable Resources Limited
(TSX.V: SAE) is pleased to announce that diamond drilling will commence today.
The focus for this phase of drilling will be on the Ridge Zone. The Company
had completed a 3D Induced Polarization program on the Ridge Zone which
delineated several resistivity and chargeability anomalies. Three drill holes
were completed during the first phase drill program earlier this year on this
Zone where anomalous gold, silver and copper values were intersected.
During previous prospecting on the Ridge Zone, the Company took
approximately 25 grab samples over an area of approximately 150 metres by 200
metres. All samples were anomalous in gold and silver. A few of the

A metallurgical test was conducted on half of a 55 pound sample which
yielded assay results of 7.451 oz/t gold and 124 oz/t of silver and 0.29%
copper, showed the ore to be amenable to the Company's existing mill and
processes.
The Ridge Zone is located approximately 2 kilometres from the Company's
mill and near the two high grade gold-silver ore bodies previously mined and
milled, by DuPont Canada and Sable Resources.
The Company is encouraged by the previous results and the potential for
the Ridge Zone. The proximity of the Ridge Zone to the A and B vein give us
confidence there are other high grade gold-silver deposits in the area to be
found.
