SILVERMINES GROUP plc ('Silvermines' or 'the Company')
In the light of recent press speculation, the Board of Silvermines wishes to
state that it is not in discussions regarding a possible offer for the
Company.
The Board is continuing to work to implement its previously announced strategy
of disposing of non-core activities.
