Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, December 10, 2009 - Rock Tech Resources Inc. (OOTC:RCKTF) (TSXV:RCK) (TSX-Venture: RCK; Frankfurt: RJIA)(the "Company" or "Rock Tech") is pleased to announce the appointment of Geoff Carter to the Company's Board of Directors.

Mr. Carter is a member of the Professional Engineering Associate of Manitoba, and a Professional Engineer in Ontario, having practiced his profession for nearly 40 years since graduating with an Honors B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from University of Wales, University College Cardiff (South Wales, United Kingdom) in 1968. He is a Principal of Broad Oak Associates, a Toronto, Ontario-based mining consulting firm, who most recently was engaged by Lithium One Inc. (OOTC:LITHF) (TSXV:LI) to author the NI-43.101 report for the Cyr lithium property in James Bay, Quebec.

Aside from holding a number of senior and executive operational positions for a number of mining companies, Mr. Carter has significant experience as a Mining Analyst and Corporate Finance Advisor.
