Q1 Update: Trophy Games generates a positive EBT

Company Announcement No. 5-2023 Copenhagen , 16 May 2023   Highlights Q1 Revenue was DKK 11.3m , a 17% YoY decrease. EBITDA was DKK 1.9m , a 40% YoY increase. EBT was DKK 0.5m , a 134% YoY increase. Unique paying users was 44,295, a 17% YoY decrease. Total transactions were 118,409, a 34% YoY decrease.   Total installs were 2.3m, a 30% YoY increase.   CEO comment Q1 2023 is the first quarter where Trophy Games' new growth strategy is reflected in the numbers - a strategy different from the previous years' approach. In 2022, we said we would focus on a balanced revenue and profit strategy. Leading into Q1 2023, the team was laser-focused, and we are now excited to share that we achieved EBT of DKK 0.5m , compared to DKK -1.5m same quarter last year. One significant change from the previous year is a substantial reduction in marketing expenses, which dropped from DKK 9.9m in Q4 21 + Q1 22 to DKK 3.6m for the last six months. This change resulted in higher EBITDA and EBT but lower revenue. However, within the Transport Series, the release of Shipping Manager, and the upcoming release of Train Manager in June, Trophy Games expects to see steady growth for the rest of the year. Shipping Manager is already performing well with monthly revenue expected to exceed DKK 700,000 in May, surpassing Airline Manager (our biggest game) in key performance indicators. The focus for Trophy Games until the release of The Ranchers in H1 2024 is to continue scaling the Transport Series and acquiring new companies. Additionally, there are upcoming updates for Airline Manager and Sky Haven , and we plan to revive our latest acquisition, Idle Necromancer, in Q3 of this year. We have a cash reserve of DKK 29.1m and are continuously exploring potential acquisition opportunities.    Thank you for your continued support.
