Unipro PJSC publishes the accounting statements prepared in accordance with the Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) for the first six months of 2022.
In H1 2022, Unipro PJSC's revenue increased by 20.9% year-on-year up to RUB 54.7 bn.
The positive changes were mainly due to the receipt of payments under the capacity contract for Berezovskaya GRES Power Unit 3 and an increase in electricity consumption resulting in higher electric power generation by Unipro's plants. The greatest contribution was made by Berezovskaya GRES with its generation increased by 85%. The growth in revenue was also due to an increase in the DAM price and a significant rise in KOM prices in 2022.
As a result, gross profit for H1 2022 grew by 60.8% and amounted to RUB 16.7 bn year-on-year.
Net loss amounted to RUB 12.8 bn, which was due to the impairment of assets in the amount of RUB 32 billion in Q1 2022 caused by changing macroeconomic forecasts amid the geopolitical situation.
