This was enabled by outstanding refinery performance, vigorous and risk-optimised feedstock sourcing, and robust execution of the Group's strategy to transform into a diversified regional industry leader positioned to capture the positive dynamics of Southeast Asia's energy, chemicals and infrastructure market. The Group also maintained deep liquidity of USD 3.8 billion , supporting operational resilience and strategic flexibility. This release, based on management accounts, highlights the Group's exceptional, record-breaking operating performance that enables continued fuel supply during periods of volatility while supporting growth capex, high-value jobs, and long-term industrial competitiveness. Navigating the Challenging Petrochemical Market Environment The petrochemical segment continued to operate in a challenging market environment, with margins under pressure due to persistent regional oversupply and cautious downstream demand. Despite these headwinds, the Group maintained stable operations through disciplined cost management, feedstock flexibility, and integrated optimisation across its value chain. Programmatic M&A Integration and Synergy Realisation The Group continued to execute its programmatic M&A strategy with rigour, successfully integrating recently acquired major assets including Shell refining, CPChem chemicals and Esso retail sites in Singapore. Synergies were realised across opex, procurement, trading, logistics, and commercial optimisation, enhancing margin capture and operational efficiency for direct value accretion. Beginning in January 2026, the facility, which has been in operation for over 33 years, will undergo asset integrity enhancement in accordance with global standards to maintain safety and reliability. This includes routine maintenance, unit upgrades, and optimisation of supporting facilities to ensure long-term operational readiness. As part of planned operational governance, this scheduled maintenance ensures that Chandra Asri Group's production facilities remain reliable, safe, and prepared to support Indonesia's industrial needs. Indonesia Asri Involves 3,300 Participants, Encourage Circular Economy Practices Among Young Generations The Indonesia Asri campaign initiated by Chandra Asri Group has recorded more than 3,300 participants since its launch in 2023, focusing on public education and community-based action to encourage circular economy practices. In two years of implementation, Indonesia Asri has held a collective waste sorting activity involving more than 200 volunteers and successfully sorted 236 kilograms of waste. The campaign also strengthens community-based waste management through collaboration with a number of waste banks in Jakarta. The initiative is being implemented amid national challenges, where around 32% of Indonesia's waste is optimally managed. Advancing Downstream and Industrial Independence, Chandra Asri Group's CA-EDC Plant Construction Reaches 50% Chandra Asri Group, through its subsidiary PT Chandra Asri Alkali (CAA), continues to strengthen the resilience of the national chemical industry as the construction progress of the Chlor Alkali and Ethylene Dichloride (CA-EDC) plant has officially reached 50%. The strategic facility located in Cilegon has entered the peak progress phase, marking a concrete step by the Group in creating a more independent and resilient domestic industrial ecosystem through strengthening local production capacity for basic chemicals. Indonesia Asri Introduces Jejak Asri as a Collaborative Platform for Young People to Inspire Environmental Action Indonesia Asri Campaign, an environmental education initiative by the Chandra Asri Group, officially launched Jejak Asri, a platform designed to share inspiration and take concrete action for the environment. After successfully engaging more than 3,300 participants through various educational programs, Jejak Asri is being introduced as an inclusive third space for young people to express their ideas and build connections outside of formal settings. Supporting Import Substitution, Chandra Asri Group Partners with Danantara and INA in the CA-EDC Project Chandra Asri Group, Danantara Indonesia, and the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) officially signed a Conditional Share Subscription Agreement (CSSA) to support the Chlor Alkali and Ethylene Dichloride (CA-EDC) project, which is part of the National Strategic Projects (PSN). With an investment value of approximately USD 800 million, this project is a strategic step in reducing dependence on imports of caustic soda and ethylene dichloride, which are essential raw materials for various industrial sectors, and supports the downstreaming agenda to drive Indonesia's longterm economic transformation. Indonesia Asri Promotes Responsible Plastic Use and Management Among the Younger Generation The Indonesia Asri campaign, initiated by the Chandra Asri Group, held an educational activity focused on the wise and responsible use of plastic food containers for the younger generation. Delivered through a cupcake decoration workshop as an interactive and creative learning activity, participants were introduced to the characteristics of commonly used plastics such as polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE). Through this activity, participants learned about the specific functions of each type of plastic, the importance of recognising food-grade labels, and the principles of proper reuse to support a more sustainable lifestyle. Through Indonesia Asri and its newest program, Jejak Asri, the initiative provides an inclusive and participatory space that encourages environmentally responsible lifestyles through a better understanding of plastic functions and proper waste management. Promoting Circular Economy, IPST ASARI Strengthens Community-Based Waste Management in Cilegon The Integrated Waste Processing Facility (IPST) ASARI in Cilegon City, facilitated by Chandra Asri Group, has increased its plastic waste processing capacity to up to 300 kg per day. This downstream waste management initiative is independently operated by KSM Sehati Maju Bersama to help reduce the burden on TPSA Bagendung, which currently receives around 200 tons of waste every day. Since its launch in 2021, the program has involved more than 9,200 local residents, encouraging the community to see waste, especially plastic, not as a problem, but as a resource with economic value. Until now, IPST ASARI has processed more than 79,700 kg of plastic waste. Around 32,200 kg of this waste has been converted through pyrolysis technology into approximately 26,800 liters of "PLUSRI" oil. Beyond reducing waste, the initiative also creates employment opportunities through the production of "CIRCLO" shredded plastic and the processing of used cooking oil, which supports the needs of local MSMEs in the surrounding area. Through these activities, residents gain additional income opportunities while also developing new local business initiatives. Strengthening National Resilience, Chandra Asri Group Increases B1 and MTBE Plants Production Capacity Chandra Asri Group has increased the production capacity of its Butene-1 (B1) and Methyl Tert-butyl Ether (MTBE) plants by 25% as a strategic step to accelerate import substitution efforts and strengthen the resilience of Indonesia's petrochemical industry. The facility, located within the Group's integrated complex in Cilegon, has been operating optimally after successfully completing a series of technical trials at the end of February 2026. As the sole domestic producer of these two strategic raw materials in Indonesia, this capacity increase emphasises the Group's role in maintaining a reliable supply of raw materials for the domestic energy and manufacturing sectors.
