Italy's Prysmian MIL:PRY said on Monday it has secured a framework agreement with Greek power grid operator IPTO ATHEX:ADMIE to develop electrical interconnections between islands in Greece worth around €910 million ($1.04 billion).The company will manufacture and install submarine and land-based cables under the agreement for the project in the Dodecanese and North Aegean islands in Greece.Prysmian also announced earlier on Monday that it will manufacture in its ​plant near Naples the ‌cables for a contract it won for the submarine ​power interconnection between ​Italy and Tunisia.($1 = 0.8750 euros)
