Outcome of Audit Tender
Essentra plc has announced the outcome of its audit tender process, with the Board approving the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as its external auditor for the financial year ending 31 December 2027, subject to shareholder approval at the 2027 Annual General Meeting. This decision follows a competitive tender process led by the Audit and Risk Committee in accordance with Financial Reporting Council standards, as PwC was initially appointed in 2017 and UK legislation requires auditor rotation every 20 years. ESSENTRA PLC "Essentra", the "Group" or the "Company" Outcome of audit tender process Essentra plc, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of essential components and solutions, today announces that following the conclusion of a formal competitive audit tender process, the Board has approved the re-appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC") as its external auditor to take effect from, and including, the financial year ending 31 December 2027. In line with applicable UK legislation, the Group is required to tender its external auditors every 10 years and rotate every 20 years. In the 2025 Annual Report and Accounts it was confirmed that a tender process would be conducted, as PwC was initially appointed in 2017. In Q2 2026, Essentra's Audit and Risk Committee led a comprehensive audit tender process in accordance with the Financial Reporting Council Minimum Standard and subsequently recommended the re-appointment of PwC. The Board has approved this proposal subject to shareholder approval at the Company's 2027 Annual General Meeting.
