BUSINESS UPDATE

This announcement is made by OCI International Holdings Limited (the "Company") and together with its subsidiaries (the "Group") pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the "Listing Rules") and Inside Information Provisions (as defined under the Listing Rules) under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

On 9 March 2021, the Group received a notification from our fund administrator that one of our debt investments of US$2.68 million issued by CFLD Cayman Investment Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of China Fortune Land Development Co., Ltd., a company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600340.SH)) (the "Notes") held by the Group was defaulted due to a cross default terms of the Notes. Accordingly, the Company is assessing an amount of impairment loss, if any, with our valuer and auditors by reference to the facts and circumstances existing.

Shareholders of the Company and potential investors should exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company. The Company is taking all necessary steps to enforce its rights against the bond issuer, the bond guarantor and any other means for the recovery of the Notes.
