2. Reason for the revisions

For the consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, operating income is expected to exceed the previously announced forecast due to growth in demand for high value-added products for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and progress in passing on higher raw material prices and other costs to selling prices. Ordinary income and net income attributable to owners of parent are also expected to exceed the previously announced forecasts due to strong performance of equity-method affiliates as a result of increased demand for products for the semiconductor industry.
