Announcement on organization structure changesNissan Chemical Corporation (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: YAGI Shinsuke) hereby announces the following changes in organization structure, effective as of April 1, 2026.
Agricultural Chemicals Division
Rename Planning and Development Dept., Agricultural Chemicals Div. to Planning and Development, Agricultural Chemicals Div.
Established “Product Development Dept.” and “Registration & Manufacturing Administration Dept.” within “Planning and Development”.
To develop products that meet market needs and customer demands and promote product commercialization as quickly as possible in tight and close collaboration between sales and development forces.
Production Technology Department
“Production Technology Dept.” will be renamed “Production Technology Div.”
Establish “Production Technology Management Dept.” and “Production Engineering Transformation Dept.” within “Production Technology Div.”
Clarified roles and objectives to prevent major equipment failures and advance the key initiatives of the mid-term plan.
Risk Management Department
Reorganized “Risk Management & Compliance Office, Corporate Planning Dept.” and “Environment, Safety & Quality Assurance Dept.” and newly establish “Risk Management Dept.”
“Risk & Compliance Office”, “EHS Management Office”, and “Quality Assurance Management Office” will be placed directly under the “Risk Management Dept”.
Positioning this department as the core function of company-wide risk management, we aim to strengthen the organization strategically to enhance the overall risk management framework.
Chemical Research Laboratories
Reorganized “Pharmaceutical Chemicals Research Dept., Chemical Research Laboratories” and “Medical Research Dept., Biological Research Laboratories” to newly establish “Healthcare Research Dept.” within Chemical Research Laboratories.
By integrating the R&D teams, and strengthen collaboration between the headquarters (Healthcare Planning Dept. and Healthcare Business Dept.) and the research institute, while increasing flexibility in task allocation within the research division to further improve the efficiency and speed of R&D.
