Manufacturing Medical Devices in the USA

NIPRO CORPORATION is pleased to announce that Nipro Medical Corporation (Head office: Miami, Florida, USA; President: Akira Shimizu)-a consolidated NIPRO subsidiary-has secured a site for a new medical device manufacturing plant in an industrial area in Pitt County, North Carolina, USA.

The NIPRO Group is currently promoting business activities with the goal of attaining consolidated net sales of 1 trillion yen by FY2030. To better meet the growing demand for medical devices in the United States, NIPRO has reached an agreement with the North Carolina state government regarding the acquisition of a new plant site. This plant will be used to supply products to not only the USA but also neighboring countries.

At NIPRO, we believe that local production for local consumption is essential for ensuring a stable, timely supply of medical devices. Through this new plant, we will be able to further improve the health of patients both in the USA and in neighboring countries while also offering a stable supply of medical devices.
