Notice of Receipt of Letter Concerning Withdrawal of Shareholder Proposal and Consent to Withdrawal
As disclosed in the "Notice Concerning the Opinion of the Company's Board of
Directors on Shareholder Proposal" dated May 15, 2025, Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. (the Company) received the following shareholder proposal (the "Shareholder Proposal") for the 101st Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (the "Shareholders' Meeting")
scheduled for June 27, 2025, and the Company announced the opinion of its Board of Directors regarding the Shareholder Proposal. Since then, the Company has received a written notice from the proposing shareholder that they are fully withdrawing the Shareholder Proposal.
The Company would like to announce that it has agreed to the withdrawal of the Shareholder Proposal and that it has decided not to submit the Shareholder Proposal to the Shareholder's Meeting.
