Nihon Nohyaku : Enters Memorandum of Understanding with Ghent University and Tech Lane

Nihon Nohyaku Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hiroyuki Iwata; hereinafter "Nihon Nohyaku") has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ghent University (hereinafter "Ghent University") in Belgium and its affiliated organization, Tech Lane Ghent Science Park (hereinafter "Tech Lane"), for cooperation in research and development of sustainable crop protection products.

This MoU aims to create innovative and environmentally conscious solutions in the agricultural sector by combining the expertise and technological capabilities of the three parties along with existent research cooperation between Nichino Europe Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Nihon Nohyaku in Cambridge, UK (hereinafter "Nichino Europe"), and Ghent University. Through this MoU, the parties seek to expand collaborations in order to fulfill their contribution to address global challenges such as food security and climate change.
