LAGOS, 10th April 2026 FIRE INCIDENT AT OUR EXTERNAL WAREHOUSE FACILITY IN ABA, ABIA STATE
Nigerian Breweries Plc (the "Company") hereby notifies the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) and the investing public of a fire incident that occurred on Thursday, the 9thof April 2026, at an external warehouse facility located opposite its Aba brewery. The leased facility is used for the storage of empty plastic crates.
The fire was promptly contained through the coordinated efforts of the Company's emergency response team with the massive support of various agencies and personnel of the Federal Government, the Abia State Government, and the Abia North Local Government, as well as other supporting partners, including the Oris Group and the immediate community. No injuries or fatalities were recorded.
The immediate impact of the incident is currently assessed to be limited primarily to the stored empty crates. A detailed assessment and investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
Operations at Aba Brewery including production, logistics, and sales operations, remain stable and unaffected.
