Newly-listed Augmont Enterprises shares fell more than 3 percent on Tuesday after the integrated precious metals management company reported a 15.3 percent year-on-year decline in net profit for the June quarter, despite a 30 percent rise in revenue.

The stock hit an intraday low of Rs 825.20 per share on the NSE, down nearly 7 percent. It later recovered some ground following value buying at lower levels and was trading at Rs 864.70 per share, down 2.54 percent, at around 10:05 am.

Augmont Enterprises reported a 15.3 percent year-on-year decline in net profit to Rs 58 crore in the first quarter of FY27, compared with Rs 68 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations rose 30.2 percent year-on-year to Rs 18,946 crore from Rs 14,552 crore.

Augmont said the decline in profit was largely attributable to international sales, which were unusually concentrated in the first quarter of the previous year. It added that geopolitical disruptions in the Middle East weighed on export volumes during the quarter.

The company said international sales recovered sequentially from the fourth quarter of FY26, indicating a gradual normalisation of the export channel despite continued uncertainty.

Augmont Enterprises shares made a decent market debut in August, listing nearly 22 percent above the initial public offering (IPO) price after the issue was subscribed 105.78 times between August 21 and 25.

The shares were listed at Rs 961 per share on the NSE, a premium of 21.95 percent. The Rs 825-crore issue had a price band of Rs 750-788 per share.

On the BSE, the shares were listed at Rs 956 per share, a premium of 21.32 percent. The company's market capitalisation after listing stood at Rs 8,735.31 crore.
