New Director Invests $120,000 CAD into Maple Leaf

CALGARY, Feb. 15 /CNW/ - Maple Leaf Reforestation Inc. ("Maple Leaf") is pleased to announce that effective Monday, February 12th, 2007, Mr. Michael Hau Hu has joined the Board of Directors of Maple Leaf.

Mr. Hu, currently a Vancouver B.C. resident, graduated in 1976 from Yangon University in Myanmar in Business Economics and has experience working in International Banking in Hong Kong and Myanmar. Michael's language skills included English, Chinese and Burmese.

In addition to joining the board of Maple Leaf, Mr Hu is investing $120,000.00 CAD into Maple Leaf through a non-brokered Private Placement of 1,000,000 shares at 12 cents per share, with a full warrant at 20 cents for a period of 18 months. Mr. Hu will also receive 500,000 stock options of the company at 20 cents per share.

Mr Hu will become directly involved in the sales and marketing of tree seedlings campaign for Maple Leaf. Mr Hu has strong ties and connections in the Chinese provinces of Shanxi, Guangxi, Guizhou and will focus his sales team efforts in these areas of China.

Maple Leaf's primary mission is to provide top quality, value added nursery seedlings and services for reforestation and landscaping projects in China through a 100% Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise registered company. Maple Leaf currently has over 6,000,000 various types of seedlings under cultivation in our 110,000 square foot greenhouse.
