By Ahmed EljechtimiMoroccan hospital operator Akdital CSEMA:AKT has acquired land in Riyadh where it plans to build its third hospital in Saudi Arabia, the company's communications director, Abdoulkodous Hafsi, said on Tuesday.The new hospital is part of the Casablanca-listed company's plans to invest $1.4 billion to reach total capacity of 1,000 beds in Saudi Arabia by 2030.Akdital plans to start operating the Al Mishari hospital in Riyadh this summer after renovating and rebranding it as Akdital Olaya Hospital.In Tunisia, the company is awaiting regulatory approvals to acquire Taoufik Hospitals Group for $90 million.In the United Arab Emirates, Akdital is building a 180-bed hospital and oncology centre in Dubai.Akdital operates 41 hospitals across 24 Moroccan cities, with total capacity of 4,505 beds.It reported a 49% rise in revenue in 2025 to 4.413 billion dirhams ($481 million).
