MONTREAL, May 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Montreal Exchange (TSX: MXX), established today a record level of activity on the Ten-Year Government of Canada Bond Futures contract, the CGB.
A record level of 368,471 CGB contracts traded today on MX. The previous CGB record, totalling 350,467 contracts, was established on February 22, 2007.
Furthermore, the combined trading on MX and BOX platforms, both operated by the MX team, totalled today a record 1,215,517 contracts. The previous record of 1,127,417 was achieved on February 27, 2007.
