PISCATAWAY, NJ, May 14, 2015/GLOBE NEWSWIRE/ - Mobile Broadcasting Holding, Inc. (OTCPink: MBHC) announced that it had strategically delayed the launch of its Whirld mobile video live-streaming app in order to upgrade its communications platform. The platform upgrades will ultimately enable the Company to make quicker and more frequent app enhancements for improved user experience. The upgrades will take approximately 90 days.
“There are definitely great pressures to launch immediately,” stated the Company’s chief executive officer Kenneth D. Bland. “As many investors who follow this sector know, the video live streaming arena has seen several significant developments. So that we have long-term relevancy in this market, our management team was in consensus to improve the communications platform now. I believe the market will be satisfied and supportive of the 90-day delay as it better positions us for mass adoption of our technology.”
Supported by a 4G LTE and Wi-Fi telecommunications platform, the Company’s live-streaming video app is being designed to allow anyone to broadcast events, happenings, and activities using his or her mobile phone. The app will also provide video-on-demand (VOD) features.
