Kuala Lumpur, 22 November 2024 - MNRB Holdings Berhad ("MNRB") today announced the appointment of Dato' Rudy Rodzila Che Lamin, as its Interim President & Group CEO. Dato' Rudy, who currently serves as the President & CEO of Takaful Ikhlas General Berhad, assumes the role effective 23 November 2024 following Zaharudin Daud's completion of tenure as President & Group CEO of MNRB Holdings Berhad.
Commenting on the appointment, Datuk Johar Che Mat, Chairman of MNRB said, "The Board is confident that Dato' Rudy's extensive experience in the takaful and insurance sectors, coupled with his broad perspectives, will enable him to guide MNRB through this transitional period."
With over thirty (30) years of experience spanning the financial, banking, and insurance industries, Dato' Rudy will work closely with MNRB's leadership team to continue driving the Group's strategic initiatives. He is also a certified member of The Association of International Accountants (UK) and holds a Master of Management from the International Islamic University Malaysia, further cementing his credentials as an accomplished leader.
The Board also expressed its appreciation to Zaharudin Daud for his leadership over the past four years. "We are grateful to Zaharudin for his dedication and contributions, which also aided in positioning MNRB on a stronger foundation for the future," added Datuk Johar.
