Cavalier Logistics (headquartered in the state of Virginia), a member of the Mitsubishi Logistics Group, has commenced operations of a new pharmaceutical-dedicated warehouse in Durham, North Carolina, as of February 10th. This facility is GMP*-compliant and aims to further strengthen our storage services in the US.
This is Cavalier Logistics' first warehouse location in North Carolina, a state where numerous pharmaceutical-related companies have established operations, resulting in ongoing active investment. As a logistics company firmly rooted in the US, Cavalier Logistics has strategically launched this facility to capitalize on the increasing demand for pharmaceutical logistics in the region. Moving forward, we plan to actively offer logistics services around pharmaceutical manufacturing sites, including 24/7 emergency shipment handling and import/export operations to and from various countries worldwide.
Additionally, in March of this year, we plan to open a new GMP-compliant warehouse in Newark, New Jersey, another hub for the pharmaceutical industry. This facility will provide pharmaceutical storage functions and transportation services within the US, and abroad. Utilizing these new warehouses along with existing ones, Cavalier Logistics aims to offer comprehensive logistics services, including storage, across key pharmaceutical industry clusters in the US. The Mitsubishi Logistics Group will continue to proactively expand its logistics services internationally.
