Medallion Metals Limited (ASX: MM8, the Company or Medallion) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Richard Hill as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately.
Richard has more than 25 years' experience in the resources sector, primarily in the gold industry, having held senior finance and commercial roles in numerous ASX listed companies with operations in both Australia and overseas.
Most recently he was Chief Financial Officer at Calidus Resources Limited and brings direct experience with respect to feasibility studies, construction and development, mine operations as well as M&A and business integration.
Richard's experience also incorporates treasury and derivatives, financial management, operational reporting, corporate governance and compliance. Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, is a member of CPA Australia and has a Graduate Diploma of Advanced Corporate Governance. Richard brings significant relevant experience to Medallion, of particular importance to the Company as it seeks to rapidly implement the sulphide development strategy.
Mr Hill's role will be critical to advancing negotiations with IGO Ltd to acquire Forrestania1 and subject to the successful completion of that transaction, the implementation of Medallion's strategy to become a near term gold and copper producer in Western Australia.
