Australia / Hong Kong / Singapore / UK, 3 June 2026 - M&G Investments (M&G) announces the appointment of Cameron Sinclair as Head of Institutional Distribution, Australia, a newly created role that strengthens the firm's institutional distribution coverage in one of the world's largest and most sophisticated pension markets.
The appointment reflects M&G's commitment to support long-term growth in this strategically important market, underpinned by a highly developed superannuation system, deep institutional capital pools and a sophisticated investor base. In Australia, M&G has been active in the real estate market since 2004, with a portfolio of circa USD2.4 billion1 and has managed investments on behalf of institutional clients since 2010.
Cameron will be responsible for leading M&G's institutional distribution strategy in Australia, with a focus on deepening relationships with institutional asset owners and connecting clients with M&G's public and private market capabilities, including official institutions, superannuation funds and insurers. Cameron will join M&G on 1 July 2026 and will be based in Sydney, reporting to Amy Cho, Head of Asia Pacific.
Cameron brings more than 25 years of experience in institutional sales and distribution. He joins M&G from TWC Invest, where he was Co-founder and Partner, focused on capital raising and distribution strategy. Previously, he held senior leadership positions in institutional sales and client relationships across Australia and New Zealand at PGIM and Principal Global Investors.
Neil Godfrey, Global Head of Client Group, M&G Investments, said: "Australia is one of the most sophisticated and developed pension markets globally, with a strong institutional framework and long-term investment approach. It shares key structural characteristics with the UK, making it a natural market for M&G. This enables us to bring our investment capabilities across public and private markets, particularly in areas of credit, real assets, equities and real estate, where M&G has been engaged with Australian investors to help secure differentiated sources of return. Cameron's appointment strengthens our presence and enhances our ability to deliver these capabilities through deeper, long-term partnerships with clients."
Amy Cho, Head of Asia Pacific, M&G Investments, said: "Australia is an important market for M&G in Asia Pacific, and Cameron's appointment reflects our continued commitment to deepening institutional client relationships across the region. His experience and market knowledge will strengthen our local coverage and connect more Australian clients with M&G's active investment capabilities."
Cameron Sinclair, incoming Head of Institutional Distribution, Australia, M&G Investments, said: "Australian institutional investors are increasingly seeking partners that can provide access to differentiated investment opportunities over long-term time horizons. M&G's breadth across public and private markets, combined with its long-standing investment heritage, offers a compelling proposition for clients as they navigate a more complex and evolving investment landscape. I look forward to working closely with clients as we strengthen partnerships and deliver solutions that support their investment ambitions."
