M&G : appoints Ruth Poh as Asia Pacific Head of Compliance

SINGAPORE / HONG KONG, 1 July 2026 - M&G Investments (M&G) today announces the appointment of Ruth Poh as Head of Compliance for Asia Pacific. Joining today, Ruth is based in Singapore and reports to Tim Page, Chief Compliance Officer for M&G Investments.

Ruth will lead M&G's compliance function across Asia Pacific, with responsibility for regulatory and compliance risks, and for providing advisory oversight as the business continues to grow its investment and client activities in the region. With over 20 years' experience in compliance and operational risk, Ruth has a track record of building regional frameworks, engaging with regulators and supporting business growth and development. She joins from UBS Asset Management, where she was Head of Compliance & Operational Risk Control, and is Chair of the Regulatory Committee at the Investment Management Association of Singapore.

M&G has become increasingly international, with clients outside the UK accounting for almost 60% of third-party assets under management and administration by the end of 2025, compared with less than 40% five years ago¹. Asia Pacific is a strategic focus for M&G, and Ruth's appointment reflects the firm's continued investment to support its long term growth ambitions. M&G recently announced the appointment of Cameron Sinclair as Head of Institutional Distribution, Australia to lead its distribution strategy in a market where the firm has served clients since 2010.
