MainStreetChamber of Commerce Announces First Political Endorsement in Its History, Endorsing Governor Joseph Lombardo for Re-Election
Wholly owned subsidiary of MainStreetChamber Holdings, Inc. launches national Main Street candidate initiative focused on small business survival, regulatory relief, public safety, education, health care access, mental health, addiction recovery, and fair lending
LAS VEGAS, NV — May 24, 2026 — MainStreetChamber of Commerce, a wholly owned subsidiary of MainStreetChamber Holdings, Inc. (OTC: MSCH), today announced the first political endorsement in the Chamber’s history, endorsing Governor Joseph Lombardo for re-election as Governor of Nevada.
The endorsement was announced by MainStreetChamber of Commerce CEO Larry Kozin in a video address to business owners, entrepreneurs, employees, members, prospective members, and Main Street advocates throughout Nevada.

Founded in Las Vegas in 1999, MainStreetChamber of Commerce has historically focused on helping small business owners start, survive, grow, and prosper while staying out of partisan political controversy. According to Kozin, that approach must now evolve because the issues facing independent business owners have become too urgent to ignore.
“As a small business owner for more than 40 years, I know what it feels like to sign the lease, make payroll, hire employees, fight for customers, deal with banks, battle rising costs, and wonder whether government is helping Main Street or hurting it,” said Larry Kozin, co-Founder & CEO of MainStreetChamber of Commerce and Chairman & CEO of MainStreetChamber Holdings, Inc. “MainStreetChamber has never made a political endorsement before, but we can no longer stand by while the little guy is squeezed from every direction.”
MainStreetChamber cited Governor Lombardo’s record on economic growth, regulatory relief, job creation, public safety, education, health care access, and support for business formation as key reasons for the endorsement.
The announcement follows the recent endorsement of Governor Lombardo by the Vegas Chamber, which cited his pragmatic approach to governing, support for Nevada businesses, public safety, economic development, regulatory relief, and education accountability.
“The Vegas Chamber’s endorsement was important, but MainStreetChamber represents a different and critical voice,” stated co-Founder, John Bellave. “We are speaking for the small business owner, the startup founder, the independent contractor, the family-owned shop, the home-based entrepreneur, the insurance agent, the real estate professional, the retailer, the restaurant owner, the service provider, and the employer trying to survive in the real world.”
MainStreetChamber said Nevada’s momentum under Governor Lombardo directly aligns with the Chamber’s mission. State employment officials recently reported that Nevada ranked No. 1 in the nation for job growth from January 2025 to January 2026, adding more than 30,000 jobs and reaching more than 1.6 million total jobs for the first time on record.
“Jobs are not just statistics,” said Bellave. “Every job represents a paycheck, a family, a customer, a taxpayer, and a stronger local economy. Main Street business owners do not need empty promises. We need a climate where people can open businesses, stay in business, hire workers, and build wealth from the ground up.”
MainStreetChamber also highlighted the importance of reducing unnecessary regulations. Large corporations can hire lawyers, lobbyists, consultants, and compliance departments. Small business owners often do not have that luxury.
“For a big corporation, red tape is an inconvenience,” Kozin said. “For a small business owner, red tape can be the difference between opening the doors and closing forever. Governor Lombardo’s focus on eliminating and streamlining burdensome regulations is exactly the kind of leadership Main Street needs.”
The Chamber also emphasized public safety as a small business issue. Crime affects storefronts, employees, customers, parking lots, tourism corridors, commercial centers, and neighborhood business districts.
“A safe Nevada is a pro-business Nevada,” Kozin said. “Employees need to feel safe. Customers need to feel safe. Business owners need to know that law enforcement has the tools, support, and resources to protect our communities.”
MainStreetChamber also praised efforts to expand mental health care and addiction recovery resources, especially as Nevada and the nation continue to confront the impact of gambling addiction, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, depression, anxiety, and untreated behavioral health challenges.
“This issue is personal to me, and it is personal to many business owners,” Kozin said. “Addiction and mental health struggles do not stay at home. They show up in the workplace through absenteeism, lost productivity, broken families, employee theft, fraud, and human suffering. Main Street businesses need leaders who are willing to talk about these problems honestly and support real solutions.”
MainStreetChamber said the endorsement of Governor Lombardo is the beginning of a broader national initiative. The Chamber intends to identify candidates in every state who support Main Street priorities, including:
Protecting independent business owners from being crushed by Wall Street conglomerates, big-box competitors, and policies that favor large institutions over local entrepreneurs.
“This is bigger than one endorsement,” Kozin said. “Governor Joseph Lombardo’s leadership makes Nevada the right place for MainStreetChamber to begin this new chapter, but our mission is national. We want to find candidates in every state who understand that small business is not a slogan. Small business is the backbone of America.”
MainStreetChamber Holdings, Inc. said the endorsement is consistent with its broader mission to build a national platform supporting entrepreneurs, business owners, local chapters, license-based owner-operator opportunities, financial services, insurance access, technology solutions, and Main Street advocacy.
“MainStreetChamber was built on giving first, helping entrepreneurs, creating relationships, and opening doors,” Kozin said. “Now we are adding our voice to the political conversation because our members, our licensees, our employees, and our communities need leaders who will fight for the people building businesses on Main Street every day.”
