TORONTO, June 3 /CNW/ - Luxell Technologies Inc. (TSX:LUX) today announced that it has received a new contract for the development of a number of customized LCD flat panel display sets from Symbolic Displays Inc (SDI), Santa Ana, California, and an undisclosed end user.
These displays will be based on Luxell's standard ATI product architecture and customized to provide the customer's pilots with improved flight situation awareness data. This initial contract for prototypes, has an approximate value of US$400,000 and customer acceptance of the Luxell prototypes could lead to an order for more than 100 shipsets with a potential value of $10 million over a three year period. This would also open the door for a further extension of several hundred units.
The SDI contract is the second new contract resulting from Luxell's Marketing Partnership with Symbolic Displays.
