Kernel reports FY2026 operating results: export, transshipment and storage volumes increase

· MarketScreener
Kernel has reported its operating results for the financial year ended 30 June 2026, delivering growth in grain exports, agricultural transshipment volumes and grain storage. At the same time, the new season has begun against a backdrop of heightened security risks to Ukraine's port infrastructure and agricultural exports.

Logistics performance
In FY2026, Kernel increased grain exports to 6.3 million tonnes, up 15% y-o-y. Throughput at the Company's export terminals reached 9.6 million tonnes of agricultural products, representing a 5% increase compared with the previous financial year.

Storage operations
Kernel's elevator network handled 4.3 million tonnes of grains and oilseeds in FY2026, up 60% y-o-y. The increase was driven by a higher share of corn in the Group's 2025 harvest mix and higher intake volumes from third-party farmers.

Processing remained resilient despite sunflower seed shortage
Despite a shortage of sunflower seed following last year's smaller harvest, the Company processed 3.2 million tonnes of oilseeds, partially offsetting lower sunflower volumes with soybeans and rapeseed. Vegetable oil sales increased by 2% y-o-y to 1.44 million tonnes.

Looking ahead to FY2027, Kernel will focus on adapting its operations to evolving security challenges, supporting agricultural producers and ensuring the resilience of its business.
