Kernel in Q3 FY2026: 17% growth in oilseed processing and 210 hours of downtime due to air raids and adverse weather

· Issued by Kernel Holding S.A.
Agri-tech company Kernel has announced its operational results for the third quarter of the 2026 financial year (January-March). The period was marked by increased oilseed processing volumes and higher throughput at export terminals, despite significant logistical and security constraints.

Oilseed processing volumes rose by 17% y-o-y to 986 thousand tons, driven by improved availability and procurement of sunflower seeds from the domestic market.

Vegetable oil sales increased by 7% compared to the same period last year, reaching 373 thousand tons.

Exports

During the quarter, total forced downtime at Kernel's export terminals due to air raid alerts and adverse weather conditions in ports amounted to 210 hours. Despite these disruptions, throughput volumes grew by 4% y-o-y to 2.6 million tons and by 6% q-o-q. To optimize logistics under these conditions, the company employed a combined fleet strategy.

In total, Kernel's terminals handled 6.9 million tons of agricultural products during the nine months of FY2026.

Kernel's own grain exports from Ukraine remained at the level of the previous quarter at 1.5 million tons (down 5% y-o-y). Export volumes were affected by slow farmer selling, as well as electricity supply constraints and rising logistics costs.
