KBank lowered M Rate lending rates by 0.25% to support the Thai economy and all customer groups.



Minimum Loan Rate (MLR): Cut by 0.25% from 6.97% to 6.72%

Minimum Overdraft Rate (MOR): Cut by 0.25% from 6.94% to 6.69%

Minimum Retail Rate (MRR): Cut by 0.25% from 7.03% to 6.78%





KBank announced 0.25% reduction in MLR, MOR, and MRR lending rates, effective 15 August 2025 for support Thai economy, which is expected to slow in the second half of the year amid increasing vulnerabilities in many sectors due to global trade uncertainty, US tariffs, a slowdown in the tourism sector, and persistently low inflation.

Mr. Chongrak Rattanapian, KBank's President, revealed that this interest rate cut is in line with the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC)'s unanimous decision at its 13 August 2025 meeting to reduce the policy interest rate by 0.25% to 1.50%. This reflects Thai economy, which still expanding at a pace close to the estimate but still faces numerous challenges that are likely to impact structural issues and the country's competitiveness. Furthermore, a more accommodative monetary policy is likely to facilitate adjustments for businesses and vulnerable groups, aligning with KBank's commitment to comprehensive customer care for all customer groups, particularly those impacted by the economic downturn, such as retail customers and SMEs, who continue to face high financing costs amid slow income recovery.

KBank has therefore cut the lending rates with the following details:
