Jura Energy Corporation - Results of Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

CALGARY, March 14 /CNW/ - Jura Energy Corporation ("Jura" or the "Corporation") announced today that its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders was held this morning in Calgary. Stephen Akerfeldt, Timothy Elliott, Graham Garner, Norman Holton, Nigel McCue, Murray Sinclair and Peter Whitbread were re-elected as directors. Robert Cudney, a director of the Corporation since February 2005, did not stand for re-election due to other commitments. The Board would like to thank Mr. Cudney for his excellent service to the Corporation over the past three years.

Directors and management are pleased that resolutions to approve a new Shareholders Rights Plan and to amend the Corporation's By-Laws to set quorum for Board meetings were also approved.
