Jungheinrich : acquires stake in EP Equipment

About this update from Jungheinrich Ag Pref

Jungheinrich acquires 4.9 per cent of the shares in EP Equipment The investment strengthens the existing partnership in the long term Strengthening the product portfolio in the mid-tech segment Hamburg / Anji - Jungheinrich AG has acquired a 4.9 per cent stake in the Chinese industrial truck manufacturer EP Equipment. The transaction is structured as a long-term strategic investment. Through this minority stake, Jungheinrich is deepening its strategic cooperation with EP Equipment, thereby taking a further step in the implementation of its Strategy 2030+. Dr Lars Brzoska, CEO of Jungheinrich AG, says: "EP Equipment is one of the most successful and fast-growing companies in the material handling sector. With our investment, we are creating a strong foundation for our long-term partnership." John He, CEO of EP Equipment, says: "Jungheinrich's investment is an expression of mutual trust and underlines the close ties between our companies. It creates a strong foundation for jointly capitalizing on new opportunities in material handling." Jungheinrich and EP Equipment had already agreed a strategic partnership back in May 2025. Under the motto "Shaping the future of material handling together", the two companies have since been pooling their expertise to offer benefits to customers worldwide whilst simultaneously boosting efficiency, productivity and sustainability in material handling. By combining their strengths and the shared history of electrification and innovation, the partnership has proven to be an excellent match from the very beginning. It thus opens the potential for further strategic collaboration opportunities along the entire value chain. Through this investment, Jungheinrich is strengthening its long-term strategic partnership with EP and benefits from the mutual exchange of ideas on developments in technology and innovation. Both companies plan to unlock additional potential through their collaboration in the areas of product portfolio and market development. Last year, Jungheinrich established the new "AntOn by Jungheinrich" brand to expand its portfolio into the Mid-Tech market segment and meet growing customer demand for cost-effective, standardized industrial trucks. AntOn stands for trucks, that are robust, fast available and always ensuring safety and security without compromise. This product portfolio is mainly manufactured by EP Equipment.
