(the "Bank") hereby announces that the Bank today decided to make an additional contribution of monetary assets to the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (J-ESOP) (the "Plan," and the trust established based on the trust agreement entered into with Mizuho Trust & Banking Co., Ltd. hereinafter referred to as the "Trust").
