Intrasense announces the CE marking of Liflow®'s new version enhanced by AI dedicated to the liver

Intrasense (FR0011179886 - ALINS), medical imaging software solutions expert and developer of Myrian® et Liflow®, is proud to announce that the Lilfow® solution obtained the CE certification under MDR1, integrating a new AI algorithm for the detection of focal liver lesions developed in collaboration with Guerbet (trade name: DUOnco™ Liver). This new version is being deployed on clinical sites.
On the 16th December, Liflow®2.0 received the CE compliance certification under MDR1 few months after the certification of its first version in April 2024. The new version of this innovative solution dedicated to oncology imaging, represents a major step forward regarding the integration of Liflow® into Intrasense's product strategy and enables the deployment on the first sites in clinical routine.
Assisted longitudinal oncology follow-up solution, already awarded by the "JFR 2024 Innovation Prize" in the digital health and AI category by the French Radiological Society (SFR) in October, Liflow® offers innovative tools enhanced by multi-organ artificial intelligence, through a unified interface, seamlessly integrated to the clinical workflow. This new 2.0 version includes the new AI algorithm DUOnco™ Liver developed in collaboration with Guerbet, which assists the detection of focal liver lesions, in addition to the AI dedicated to the detection of lung nodules.
A high-end AI solution to face growing challenges in oncology
Liver cancer represents a real challenge for public health and was ranked sixth most common cancer in 2022 and third cause of death by cancer worldwide. Despite technological advances, the detection and follow-up of this cancer remain difficult, representing a risk of late and tedious diagnosis.
To face these challenges, Intrasense and Guerbet developed DUOnco™ Liver, a high- end AI algorithm designed specifically for the detection of focal liver lesions in CT scan exams during the portal phase, integrated into Liflow® and also marketed on its own.
The integration of DUOnco™ Liver into Lilfow® 2.0 reflects the commitment of Intrasense to provide high-end technological solutions in oncology imaging and meet the highest levels of healthcare professionals' expectations.

Liflow® continues, alongside several clinical sites, to develop the concept of multi- organ AIs and aims to integrate new artificial intelligence algorithms dedicated to bones and pancreas lesions next, mixing ergonomy, efficiency and precision.
