IMCD Group ("IMCD" or "Company"), a leading global partner for the distribution and formulation of speciality chemicals and ingredients, today announces the appointment of Walter Ripple as Executive Vice President, Commercial, US.
With this newly created role, IMCD is further investing in its commercial capabilities in the US, with a sharp focus on deepening supplier and customer relationships, driving portfolio excellence and accelerating organic growth.
Walter Ripple joins from Avient Corporation, where he spent over 27 years in sales and senior leadership roles, including Vice President, Sustainability, Vice President and General Manager of Global Elastomers, and Vice President and General Manager of Americas Specialty Engineered Materials. He brings deep experience in commercial and portfolio excellence and a strong track record of driving growth in the specialty chemicals industry. Walter holds a Bachelor's of Chemistry from Texas A&M University and an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business.
