IMCD Group ("IMCD" or "Company"), a leading global partner for the distribution and formulation of specialty chemicals and ingredients, has appointed João Esteves as Managing Director of IMCD Brazil, effective 10 August 2026.
João Esteves returns to IMCD, bringing nearly three decades of international commercial and management experience across multiple industries and continents. He started his career as an Auditor with Deloitte, before working for over a decade with Monsanto (now Bayer), progressing from Plant Controller to Global Business Controller and Asia Finance Lead. He subsequently held Chief Finance Officer (CFO) roles at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, SunEdison, Kemin Industries, and Finance Director at IMCD in Brazil, where he also led Operations and Supply Chain across South America. Most recently, he worked with UPL North America before joining ENESPA AG, where he served as President, Americas.
João holds an MBA in International Business from Saint Louis University and completed advanced finance studies at Wharton School. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
