This collaboration highlights the value of such contracts in moving towards a more competitive and sustainable production model , thanks to the guarantee of a reliable and secure supply of European origin at stable and predictable prices, which contributes to the decarbonisation of the production sector. 80% of the electricity supplied comes from wind farms and 20% from solar photovoltaic installations , with guarantees of origin, and is supported by an installed capacity of 15 MW from Iberdrola. Thanks to this agreement, Gonvarri Industries reinforces its commitment to electrification and the use of renewable energy in its European operations, ensuring a stable and competitive supply that helps improve energy efficiency and reduce the group's carbon footprint. For Iberdrola, the partnership consolidates its position as a leading partner to the European industrial sector and expands its portfolio of long-term supply contracts. Europe's leading electricity company and one of the world's two largest by market capitalisation maintains its leadership in the European PPA market , according to the Pexapark Renewables Market Outlook 2026 report, which places it at the top of the ranking for the third consecutive year. It has agreements in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Brazil and Australia, backed by its onshore and offshore wind, solar and generation mix , which ensures supply at competitive prices. These agreements form part of Iberdrola's strategy to drive the electrification of industry , strengthen stable relationships with major customers and contribute to a more secure, efficient and sustainable energy system, capable of meeting growing demand.
