Hulic Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Takaya Maeda, Representative Director and President, hereinafter "Hulic") is investing in U.S. senior living as part of its international business.

We are pleased to announce that Hulic has invested in the senior living community "Estancia Del Sol" located in California, USA, through a joint venture business with MBK Real Estate LLC (a U.S. subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., hereinafter "MRE").

This property is located in Corona, a suburb of Los Angeles, where the senior population is increasing. The senior living community is operated by a subsidiary of MBK Senior Living LLC ("MSL"), which is wholly-owned by MRE. This is our fifth investment of an MSL-operated senior living community, following "Hillcrest of Loveland", "Savanna House" "McDowell Village" and "The Bellettini." We aim to further enhance the property values through our cooperation with its experienced operators.
