Secured bookings for the powder processing and blown film businesses remained at the same

level as the same period last year.

Profits decreased due to a 12.2% YoY decline in net saleswithin the powder processing business.

Powder processing : Although bookings are generally continuing to be delayed, Aftersales and Toll processing are securing stable bookings.

Blown film : Entering 2Q, bookings recovered to the same level as the same period last year due to the conclusion of several large projects.

Foreign exchange effects resulted in approximately 1% increases in bookings received, net sales, and operating profit.
