Tokyo, April 15, 2026 - Hitachi Construction Machinery (President and Executive Officer: Masafumi Senzaki; "Hitachi Construction Machinery") will relocate its current head office located in the Ueno East Tower (Higashi-Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo) to the Otemachi Gate Building (Uchi-Kanda, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) in May 2027.

Hitachi Construction Machinery has used the start of its independent expansion of the Americas business and the change in its capital structure in 2022 to undertake a transformation positioned as its "Second Start-up." The company plans to change its name to "LANDCROS Corporation" and its corporate brand to "LANDCROS" in April 2027. The decision to relocate the head office was made after considering a new vision for the head office that symbolizes the enhanced corporate value, global collaboration, and embodiment of the "LANDCROS" spirit while looking ahead to future growth strategies in this period of transformation.

The new head office will serve as a hub to strengthen collaboration between domestic and overseas locations, customers, and business partners to support the further growth of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group.

Features of the New Head Office
1. Strengthening communication

The floor space will increase by roughly 20% compared to the current head office to ensure a spacious office environment. Furthermore, the installation of internal stairs connecting the 23rd through 25th office floors and the introduction of a group-based seating system will promote daily exchanges that transcend departmental and hierarchical boundaries.

2. Enhancing flexibility

In addition to expanding the meeting rooms and communication spaces, the company aims to realize a work style that connects domestic and overseas locations more smoothly than ever by equipping the latest ICT environments including large-screen monitors. By creating an environment that supports work styles which combine in-person and online work, the company will foster a transformation in the mindset toward working globally and promote flexible and highly productive ways of working.

3. Reinforcing the hub functions which embody "LANDCROS"

The new head office will function as a base for accelerating the creation of new forms of value by openly connecting diverse stakeholders such as customers, business partners, and group companies based on the company's commitment to the concepts of "Customer," "Reliable," "Open," and "Solutions" as embodied by LANDCROS. For example, the reception area will provide environments that openly encourage co-creation such as a space for introducing the products and solutions of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Group and communication areas available for use by both internal and external stakeholders.

Furthermore, the Otemachi Gate Building, where the new head office will be located, offers easy access to the Otemachi, Kanda, and Tokyo station areas to promote engagement with stakeholders.

In addition, the Otemachi Gate Building has obtained "ZEB*1 Ready" and "CASBEE Wellness Office" (S-rank) certifications and plans to introduce power derived from 100% renewable energy with the goal of balancing environmental sustainability with a comfortable working environment.

*1: ZEB is an abbreviation of "Net Zero Energy Building." This acronym applies to buildings that aim to achieve a net zero annual balance of primary energy consumption through energy conservation and the use of renewable energy. "ZEB Ready" refers to buildings that have reduced their primary energy consumption by 50% or more compared to the baseline standard.

Through the relocation of its head office, Hitachi Construction Machinery will establish a new base under the "LANDCROS" banner and further strengthen its connections with various stakeholders. Through these efforts, the company aims to achieve sustainable growth and further enhancement of corporate value as a solutions provider.
