MONTREAL, May 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Golden Goose Resources Inc. (TSX Venture: GGR) is pleased to announce that it has intersected new sections of significant nickel mineralization in drilling at its Lac Levac nickel property, located in the James Bay region, 40 kilometres northeast of Nemiscau, Quebec. The four holes reported below define a strike length in excess of 270 metres coincident with the geophysical anomaly. Intersections include a 4 metre interval grading 1.07% nickel with values in copper, platinum and palladium as well. All intervals reported below are core lengths. The true widths have not yet been determined.

The mineralized zones are composed of massive to disseminated sulphide in an ultramafic rock identified as a serpentinitized peridotite. The property had not seen significant exploration since the mid 1980s when Muscocho Mines drilled the property and in the 1960s when Inco conducted a drilling program which returned values as high as of 0.8% Ni, 0.5% Cu and 2g/t platinum group metals over 16.2 metres.
Golden Goose completed drilling in the area and is waiting for more results in the coming weeks. RSW Inc. has been retained to make a 43-101 resource estimate report for the end of this quarter.
The Golden Goose land position at Lac Levac now exceeds 10,000 hectares in the area. Planning has begun for the next work program which will include more geophysical work and most probably another drill campaign.
Analyses were done by Accurassay Laboratories, Thunder Bay, Ontario. The Lac Levac exploration program is supervised by Marc-Antoine Beaupre, Eng. and Qualified Person as defined under NI-43-101 guidelines.
