MONTREAL, Feb. 26 /CNW Telbec/ - (TSX-V: GGR), Golden Goose Resources Inc. has begun its 3,000 metre drill program at the Company's 100% owned Lac Levac nickel-copper property, located in the James Bay region, 40 kilometres northeast of Nemiscau, Quebec. As of today, over 100 metres have already been drilled.
Previous drilling in the on the property by INCO Ltd. in the 1960s intersected significant nickel-copper-platinum group metals mineralization associated with ultramafic intrusive rocks, including 16.2m of 0.8%Ni, 0.5% Cu and 2g/t platinum group metals.
Targets to be tested also include magnetic anomalies defined by an airborne geophysical survey last summer, which may be associated with mineralizatoin in ultramafic rocks.
Photos will be available this week at www.goldengooseres.com ("Lac Levac" page).
